Ebeid: Arab should help with 100 billion dollars for war
Egypt-Palestine, Politics, 4/25/2002

In an interview issued by the United Arab Emirates UAE al-Itihad daily on Wednesday, Egypt's Prime Minister Atef Ebeid was asked why Egypt as the strongest Arab state has not taken any measures in retaliation to the Israeli military attack against the Palestinians. Ebeid said "let the Arab world put USD 100 billion of the Arab assets that exist in the world and say it is a budget for confrontation. Here you Egypt, the leader Arab state. This is the budget under your disposal. Start confrontation ( with Israel)."
