Closure of US embassy in Yemen to be extended

A spokesman for the US State Department said on Tuesday evening that the US embassy in Yemen will continue to be closed following threats to launch an attack against the American interests there.

The spokesman for the US state department Richard Boucher said that due to these threats, the embassy will also continue to be closed today ( Tuesday) until next Saturday. Boucher did not explain the nature of these threats.
