Sharon telephones Powell

The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon on Tuesday evening made a telephone call with the US secretary of state Colin Powell.
The Israeli radio said that Sharon informed Powell of Israel's reservations on the formation of the international investigation committee.
The radio added that Powell also telephoned Kofi Annan, the secretary general of the Arab League and informed him about the Israeli reservations and Israel's demands to postpone delegating the committee at the meantime to the region.
