Indonesia: no intention to establish diplomatic relations with Israel

The Indonesian foreign minister Hassan Werayuda on Wednesday announced in Abu Dhabi that his country does not intend to establish diplomatic relations with Israel which oppress the Palestinian people and their right to establish their own independent state.
In a seminar held in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, the Indonesian minister stressed his country's support for the Palestinians and the legitimacy of the operations carried out by the Palestinians who suffer repression.
The Indonesian minister said that his country is continuously contacting the Organization of the Islamic conference and its current president -- the ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani -- to discuss the Indonesian initiative on means of halting the Israeli aggression and withdrawing the Israeli forces.
