Cim, Papandreau headed to ME on Wednesday

The official spokesman for the Turkish foreign ministry Hussein Deiryuz has announced that the Turkish foreign minister Ismael Cim and his Greek counterpart George Papandreau would have headed for the Middle East on Wednesday to meet with the Israeli and Palestinian sides.
The Turkish mass media indicated that it is expected that the Turkish and Greek officials will meet with the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat in Ramullah and then will be meeting with the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon and his foreign minister Shimon Peres in an attempt to take part in the international efforts aiming at establishing peace in the region.
