Representatives of organizations of Arab-Americans received by king Mohammed

Morocco's King Mohammed VI received Tuesday at his residence in Washington representatives of organizations of Arab-Americans.
The audience was attended by minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, the advisors to the king, Andre Azoulay and Mohamed Kabbaj, Director of the Royal Office, Mohamed Rochdi Chraibi, and minister of economy, finance, privatization and tourism, Fathallah Oualalou.
The sovereign afterwards hosted a function in honor of the representatives of these organizations.
The leaders of major organizations of Arab-Americans, who were received by the sovereign, voiced appreciation for the sovereign's work visit to the United States, that is taking place, they said, at an international juncture marked by tension in the Middle East.
Chairman of the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination Committee, Ziad Asali, hailed Morocco's initiatives to put an end to the Israeli aggression and lift the siege imposed on the Palestinian territories.
President of the Arab-American Institute, James Zogby, told reporters the community of Arab-Americans highly appreciates the initiatives made by Morocco to restore the Palestinian people's legitimate rights. "We hail the efforts made by H.M. the King in favor of the Palestinian cause and of peace," he said.
President of the Islamic Institute, Khalid Saffuri, and director of the Islamic center, Abdellah Khouj, lauded Morocco's actions in favor of peace and efforts to strengthen the culture of tolerance in the world. They also hailed the courageous stands adopted by the Moroccan government to back the Palestinian people to establish an independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
On his part President of the American Muslim Council, Yahya Basha, said the community of American Muslims has faith in the actions initiated by Morocco's King for the triumph of the Palestinian cause and the unity of the Islamic Ummah.
