Activating the Arab boycott of Israel
Regional-Jordan, Politics, 4/23/2002

The "Jordanian national committee in protection of the homeland and confronting normalization" has called on the Arab states to revitalize the role of the Arab boycott committees and the common defense agreements, as well as to eliminate obstacles that stand against building an Arab official position against the Israeli occupation and the American political stances supporting it.

In a statement issued in Amman on Monday, the committee described challenging normalization with the "Zionist enemy" as a great national mission, to which contribution should be made by all citizens as individuals and groups, parties, trade union and national forces and in various areas.

The committee stressed the need of boycotting the American and Israeli products.

The committee also called for providing support and backing to the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.
