Iraqi oil stoppage caused higher prices

"Since Iraq has taken its historic decision to support the defiant Palestinian people and its great steadfastness against the criminal US-Zionist aggression," Iraq's decision to halt oil exports brought a clear increase in oil prices for the first time, an Iraqi official told INA yesterday. Iraq called for others to follow its boycott.
