Japanese donation to Jordan for monitoring water pollution

The Jordanian and Japanese government on Sunday in Amman signed the minutes of cooperation according to which Japan will offer Jordan a donation of 4.6 million Jordanian Dinars to finance the building of project system of monitoring water pollution in Jordan.
The memorandum were signed on behalf of Jordan by the minister of planning Basem Awadallah and for Japan its ambassador in Amman Shentaro Sasaki.
According to this donation, the Jordanian government will provide Jordan with 13 monitoring stations for water quality to be installed on the al-Yarmouk and Jordan rivers, Abdullah King Canal and al-Zarqa as well as the laboratories of the water department, the Jordan valley authority and the royal scientific society.
