Mubarak, Chinese Premier probe situation in Palestinian areas

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak discussed today with visiting Chinese Prime Minister Zhu Rongji the situation in the Middle East, developments in the Palestinian areas, the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people and means to push forward bilateral relations. Zhu, at the end of his visit to Ankara, had denounced in press statements the Israeli military assaults on the Palestinian territories.
These acts will further complicate matters, said Zhu, calling on Israel to withdraw its troops immediately from the occupied territories.
Zhu arrived in Cairo Friday, accompanied by a delegation comprising ministers of foreign affairs, water resources and agriculture on a five-day visit to Egypt.
