Al-Shara consultations with Hammoud, Maher, Balkhadem and Moussa on Israeli aggression, Valencia meeting

Telephone calls were made on Friday evening between the Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and each of the Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud Hamoud, the Egyptian foreign minister Ahmad Maher, the Algerian foreign minister Abdul Aziz Balkhadem and the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa.

Discussions dealt with latest conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories in light of the continued Israeli aggression and also the meeting due to be held next week for the foreign ministers of the Euro- Mediterranean Foreign ministers meeting due to be held in Valencia and Syria's position towards this conference, expressed by the official spokesman of the foreign ministry in Syria and was conveyed to the presidency of the European Union and the Arab and European states, members in this partnership.
