Some 12 Palestinians killed Friday; Some 400 Jenin victims

The Israeli aggressions on Friday continued against the Palestinian territories and 12 Palestinians were killed, many other wounded or detained. Two Palestinians retaliated by a "suicide operation" near a check point for the Israeli forces leading to Ghoushe Katieve settlement in Gaza.
News reports said that one Palestinian was shot on Friday in Jenin under the pretext that he was trying to knife an Israeli army officer. One Israeli patrol opened fire at a Palestinian youth near Anin Sharq village and in Beitonia village the Palestinian child Mahmoud Abu Khadra ( 9 year old) died of a bullet in the head. In Gaza three Palestinians were killed when the Israeli tanks tried to break into Rafah crossing area and near Natsareim settlement, Muhammad Arhim and Salem Hasouna were killed after they tried to sneak to the said settlement. Another Palestinian youth was shot upon trying to get into Doghit settlement and the Palestinian teenager Mahmoud Abu Shouqa to the north of Gaza was shot while he was on his way to school.
News reports said that the Palestinian Youssef Zanoun was killed of a heavy bullet during the Israeli forces bombardment of al-Brazil camp near Rafah and then breaking into it. This resulted in killing the Palestinian woman Manar al-Sha'er and wounding of five children who were admitted to Abu Youssef al-Najjar hospital while four Palestinians were wounded from Abu Sjallouq family after the Israeli tanks bombarded al-Mighraqa. The Palestinian infant ( five day old) Dunia Shtei' died after the Israeli forces prevented her father, an AP photographer, obstructed, tried to help her reach Nablus hospital to receive medical treatment.
Meantime, the Israeli forces arrested the young Palestinian woman Samia Taqtaqa ( 17 year old) from Beit Najjar village to the south of Bethlehem under the pretext she was intending to carry out "suicide operations" and the Israeli forces also arrested Khaled Tafesh the military official for "al- Qassam group" in Bethlehem.
AFP revealed the drastic situation in Jenin camp saying that the volume of the crime is unprecedented as houses were demolished on the heads of its inhabitants and hundreds of families were displaced.
At the time when the people of Jenin started to search for their missing citizens under the ruins of houses, international relief agencies started to take out the corpses of the Palestinians who were killed during the Israeli aggression.
Muhammad Abu Ghali, the director of Jenin hospital said that number of corpses so far found increased to 39, noting that there are corpses under the ruins, and that number of the Palestinians who were killed during the Israeli aggression against the camp reached 400.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said that one Palestinian was rescued from under the ruins of the houses destroyed by the Israeli forces during their invasion of the camp.
Meantime, the Palestinian authority stressed that all Palestinian areas and towns are witnessing military moves by the Israeli occupation forces especially around Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah cities, noting that the cities of Toulkarem, Jenin, Ramullah, Bethlehem, al-Khalil and the surrounding villages, towns and camps are still under tightened besiege.
Meantime, the chairman of Jenin municipality Zuheir Manaserah denied the Israeli claims on the withdrawal of its forces from Jenin camp, stressing that the Israeli forces are still besieging the camp and the Israeli tanks still prevent food, water and medical supplies into the wounded Palestinians and the besieged in the buildings destroyed by the Israeli occupation forces.
