Sharon, Katsav accuse European leaders of anti Semitism
Israel-European Union, Politics, 4/20/2002
The Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon has accused leaders of the European states to shoulder the responsibility for what he described as increasing anti- Semitism in Europe.
Sharon, who was talking in Tel Aviv in front of a delegation including 200 members of the French branch for "the Likud bloc" on Thursday evening, claimed that having an armed and strong Israel is the only way to fight anti- Semitism.
Sharon called members of the Likud branch in France to migrate to Israel, considering that migration is the best thing they can make in the service of Israel.
Meantime, the Israeli President Moshe Katsav expressed during his meeting with officials representing Jewish organization, his concern over anti- Jewish demonstrations in France. He added that he had sent a message to the French President Jacque Chirac to express his concern over anti- Jews demonstrations.
Worthy mentioning that the Israeli officials attach anti- Semitism accusations against every one who criticize their aggressive policy and their anti- humanitarian violations.
