Apache planes for Kuwait at USD 1.2 billion

The US defense department has informed the US Congress that it can sell Kuwait A. H- 64 De Apache helicopters at a cost of USD 1.2 billion.
The department explained in a statement that Kuwait wants to buy 16 Apache and four additional engines and 300 missiles of "Hell-Fire" type. The statement added that the regional policy and the military results of this deal was studied carefully and that the positive prospects of having an alliance in the region is an important matter.
The main American companies which will provide this deal are Boeing, Lockhead Martin Electronics, Lockhead Martin Systems Integration; General Electric and Longpo International.
