Israel pollutes Jordanian water resources

Jordan has unveiled that the Israeli fishery farms installed along the Jordanian- Israeli borders in the al-Aqaba Gulf water are polluting the sea environment with Nitrite and chemicals used in feeding fish.
The chairman of the economic al-Aqaba area Aqel Beltaji said that Jordan submitted several complaints to Israel to this effect to remove these farms and put an end to the source of the pollution in the Gulf waters.
He said that Israel knows about the negative impact of these farms on the sea environment through its use of fertilizers which help the growth of algae which prevents sun light and causes diseases to fishery. A matter which endangers fishery and other sea creatures.
