Kuwaiti foreign minister hails Morocco's support to Arab causes

Kuwaiti state minister for foreign affairs, Sheikh Mohamed Sabah Salem Al-Sabah, hailed Morocco's support to Arab causes, mainly the Palestinian issue and Morocco-Kuwaiti relations as "historical and strong" and "remarkably evolving."
The head of the Kuwaiti diplomacy, arrived in Rabat Monday coming from Egypt, to give King Mohammed VI a message from the prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah. He said the message, part of political dialogue between the two Arab heads of state, deals with bilateral relations and preparations for next month's meeting of the high joint commission.
He also recalled that Morocco was one of the first countries to condemn Iraq's invasion of Kuwait (in 1990) and has been active in the Kuwaiti POW's issue, citing the initiative of the late King Hassan II to dispatch his advisor to Iraq to address this humanitarian issue.
The Kuwaiti official, who met on Monday in Casablanca, Saudi crown prince Abdallah Ibn Abdelaziz who is currently on a private visit to Morocco, said the Saudi crown prince stressed the need to unify Arab ranks and endeavor to support the Palestinian cause.
He went on talks with the Saudi prince covered the Saudi Middle East peace initiative which was adopted at the Arab summit of Beirut (March 27-28) and the need to end Israel's aggressions against the Palestinian people
