Al-Mashaar prevented from meeting with Arafat

The Israeli occupation forces had refused to permit the Jordanian foreign minister Marwan al-Mashaar from entering into Ramullah city in the West Bank on Tuesday.
The Monte Carlo Radio quoted the official in charge of the local self- rule in the Palestinian territories his confirmation that the Israeli authorities prevented al-Mashaar from heading to Ramullah to meet with the chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat.
