Israeli forces continue incursions, corpses in Ramullah, evidences of Sharon's crimes

The Israeli forces of Monday arrested Marwan the secretary of the Fatah movement in Ramullah al-Barghouthi while another Israeli force broke into the Palace hotel near the Nativity church and installed its artillery from the balconies of the hotel towards the church which shelters scores of clergies and citizens and started to open fire at them and throwing sound bombs to terrify them.

The Israeli forces also broke into al- Abedeyah village to the east of Bethlehem and carried out a large detention campaign following the destruction of several Palestinian houses and establishments.

News reports said that two Israeli soldiers were wounded during the confrontation which took place with the besieged Palestinians inside the Nativity church, while Amenah Saad al-Keirja was killed upon the Israeli forces storming into al-Doha village in Beit Jala, and Muhammad Abu Muhareb was killed in an incursion by the Israeli forces in al- Abedeyah village. Two Palestinians were killed by the Israeli occupation bullets near Kafer Daroum settlement in Gaza, while Khaled Abd Ali was killed in an Israeli incursion in Qlindya camp and other seven Palestinians were wounded.

While the Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Moufaz stressed the Israeli military operations against the Palestinians will continue, Palestinian officials said that it is not possible to take out the corpses of the Palestinians from Jenin camp because most of them are wasting under the ruins of the destroyed buildings.

News reports said that the Israeli forces continued inspection operations in the cities of Jenin, Nablus, Ramullah, Bethlehem and several Palestinians were arrested.

On the other hand, the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres admitted that 23 Israeli soldiers were killed during the Israeli incursion into Jenin camp. He said that great difficulties faced the Israeli army during the incursion process.

As for the tour of the US secretary of state Collin Powel into the region, observers in Washington said that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon through launching the trial balloon of convening a regional conference including Israel and certain Arab states, is considered a maneuver in order to appear as if he is carrying a peace initiative.
