Al-Tureiki gets telephone calls from Kuwaiti, Yemeni peers

The secretary of the people's general committee for African unity in Libya Ali Abdul Salaam al-Tureiki discussed in telephone calls with the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa, the Kuwaiti foreign minister Sabah al-Ahmad, Jasem Bin Hamad Bin Jaber al-Thani, the Qatari foreign minister; the Yemeni foreign minister Abu Baker al-Qurabi the efforts aiming at taking a united Arab position "in support of the Palestinian people under the siege, massacres and the mass annihilation, practiced by the Zionist terrorism."

The Libyan radio said on Monday that al-Tureiki stressed the need of total commitment by all Arab states to implementing the Arab full boycott of Israel, noting that it was agreed during contacts to support the Palestinian people and to hurry into implementing an Arab committee to monitor the boycott and the extent of the commitment of the Arab states to it.
