Tennis: Morocco's el Aynaoui wins Hassan ii open, becomes world no 8

Morocco's Younes El Aynaoui on Sunday beat defending champion Guillermo Canas of Argentina 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 Sunday to win the US$ 381,000 clay-court Grand Prix Hassan II Open, and climb to 8th rank on the World ATP standing of this week.
This is the third title of 2002 for El Aynaoui, who has five career titles.
Thirty-year old El Aynaoui becomes the second Moroccan to win the title after the 1997 feat of Hicham Arazi. Both are scheduled for Monte Carlo this week.
