Bahrain: increasing demands to expel the American ambassador

Eye- witnesses said on Sunday that a demonstration included 5,000 persons started from the city of Hamad to the south of the capital Manama in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in particular called for expelling of the American ambassador from Bahrain.
The demonstration which was headed by men of religion, started following after noon prayers from the downtown of Hamad city and took the main street of the city. The demonstrators burnt the Israeli flag and a puppet symbolizing the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon and chanted slogans calling for the expulsion of the US ambassador from Bahrain.
