Israel: imprisonment or expulsion for persons besieged in Nativity church

Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon has put two options before the 200 Palestinians who are besieged In the Nativity Church either to be jailed or exiled for ever.
The spokesman for Sharon Raanan Ghesin said: " if they leave, this will be for ever, but if they choose to stay they will be tried in Israel." Worthy mentioning that 200 Palestinian fighters, 30 monks and unknown number of civilians are hiding in the Nativity church since 12 days are besieged by the Israeli army.
Meantime, the Palestinian minister Salah al-Nimri, member of the negotiating team in charge of ending the siege on the Nativity Church considered Sharon's offer as " unacceptable."
