Saudi donation campaign for Palestinians is not a provocation to violence: US

The White House has stated that the donation campaigns organized by the Saudi TV for the interests of the Palestinian people doe not fall in the context of provoking violence.

The spokesman for the White House said that the US President George Bush expressed a strong tone in his message which calls for halting provoking what he called violence but, sending sums to the Palestinian people doe not constitute a support to terrorism.

The spokesman added that Washington received Saudi confirmation that the collected funds of USD 83 million will be sent to meet the humanitarian requirements needed by the Palestinians.
