Mubarak, Arafat discuss the results of regional, international contacts

President Mubarak yesterday made a telephone contact with Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat with whom he reviewed the situation in the region and the results of international consultations. The President got a telephone call from United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan to whom he underlined the fact that non implementation by Israel of the UNSC resolutions would undermine the UN credibility.
The President said Israel is undermining the UN capability for maintaining peace, a target which requires more decisive stance.
