Sound and light shows in monumental sites

Sound and Light shows in monumental sites are one of the most successful cultural attractions in Egypt.

Pre-operational technical and scientific studies are conduted by well-known Egyptian and foreign professors of Egyptology, to secure the highest technical standard in preparation and execution.

Sound and Light shows are presented in the following places:

The Pyramids and Sphinx area, Cairo (performances in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Arabic) Philae Temples, Aswan (performances in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Arabic) Karnak area, Luxor (shows in English, French, German and Arabic) The Pharaonic Village, Cairo (special stories of Nile Thanksgiving Day, performed on the Village's lake)

The pyramids area witnessed the first Sound and Light performance on April 13th, 1961. Similar shows started in 1962 at "Saladin Citadel", followed by another at Karnak in 1972, with many other shows following until they reached their current status of splendour and attractiveness.
