King Mohammed dedicates dam near Agadir
Morocco, Economics, 4/13/2002
Morocco's King Mohammed VI on Friday dedicated a dam in the commune of Tamri, near the Moroccan southern Atlantic city of Agadir.
The king dubbed the facility after his late uncle Prince Moulay Abdallah.
The king heard explanations on the US$ 56.03-million dam, destined to supply drinking water to the city of Agadir and to areas in its neighborhood.
The construction works were financed by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development and the Islamic Development Bank.
