Syrian PA speaker confers with al-Barazani

The speaker of the Syrian parliament Abdul Qader Qaddoura on Thursday received Masoud al-Barazani, the chairman of the Kurdistani Democratic party in Iraq and members of the accompanying delegation.
Discussions dealt with conditions in the region especially current developments under the terrorist attacks carried out by the government of Sharon against the Palestinians and the threats hatched against Iraq. It was stressed to reject any threat to Iraq's people and sovereignty.
