Israeli attacks destroy antiquities

"The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities sent a letter today to the Director General of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the UNESCO, saying that as a result of the Israeli aggressive offensive against the Palestinian people and elected leadership a large number of historical and religious buildings in the old Palestinian cities were either damaged or destroyed, and in addition to that very important monuments of international and religious value were attacked, such as the Church of Nativity, and Omar Mosque in Bethlehem, the Museums in Tulkarem, and Ramallah, and other sites," WAFA reported today.
