Iraq, Syria sign irrigation agreement

Iraq and Syria have signed an Irrigation agreement for joint cooperation in irrigation field, exchanging expertise and establishing new joint companies specialized in irrigation and potable water.
The Syrian and Iraqi officials called on Turkey to resume triplet talks, which were blocked since 1992 to reach an agreement between the three countries situated on Euphrates, INA reported today.
