Al-Shara receives a message from the Indian foreign minister

Syria's deputy Premier and foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Tuesday received the Indian deputy foreign minister and members of the accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by foreign ministry officials and the Indian ambassador in Damascus. Discussions dealt with "the catastrophic condition of the Palestinian people because of the inhuman practices committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Palestinian territories."
Discussions also centered on conditions in the Indian sub- continent and bilateral relations between Syria and India and means of developing them in various areas.
