Al-Shara discusses grave conditions in occupied Palestinian territories

The Syrian deputy premier and the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Tuesday received the Algerian foreign minister Abdul Aziz Balkhadem and members of the accompanying delegation. The meeting was attended by the deputy foreign minister Suleiman Haddad, the director of the Arab states department Issa Darwish and the Algerian ambassador in Damascus.

Discussions dealt with developments of grave conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and "the acts of annihilation exposed on the Palestinians practiced by the Israeli occupation forces."

The two ministers discussed issues debated on the agenda of the meetings of the joint Syrian- Algerian commision with the aim of strengthening of bilateral relations between the two sisterly states.

Balkhadem arrived in Damascus on Tuesday and was welcomed by Haddad and the Algerian ambassador in Damascus.
