Annan calls on Israel to immediately pull out from Palestinian territories

The UN secretary general Kofi Annan on Monday called on Israel to immediately withdraw its forces from the Palestinian territories in the West Bank, according to UN security council resolution issued to this effect.
Annan told pressmen that he hopes that Israel will pay careful to the call made by the US President George Bush and to the UN security council resolutions concerned and to immediately pull out its forces from the West Bank.
