Export deals to Iraq hit $ 3.8 billion

The volume of Egyptian trade exchange with Iraq till the 11th stage of understanding memo rose to more than $ 3.800 billion.

Egypt's trade counsellor in Baghdad Mohamed Abdullah said that volume of Egyptian exports to Iraqi market in the 11th stage of food for oil agreement as of last December till May, 31st hit $ 161.2 million against $ 983.5 million in the 10th stage.

The trade advisor expected a rise in Egyptian deals during the coming period in the light of the two states keenness on pushing and activating all forms of economic and commercial cooperation between the two states and the Egyptian companies success in obtaining direct deals for their products in Iraqi.

On the 4th Egyptian products Fair organized by General Organization for International Exhibitions and Fairs in Cooperation with the Public Company for Iraqi fairs on April 1521, Mohamed Abdullah said that more than 100 big companies in Egypt will participate in the Fair.

He added that the Egyptian products will include those produced by companies specialized in food industries, chemicals engineering industries and construction.
