Tens of killed Palestinians, hundreds wounded and missing under ruins of demolished houses by the Israelis

The Israeli occupation army on Sunday continued its brutal bombardment of the city of Nablus. This resulted in killing 13 Palestinians and the destruction of several houses while corpses of the killed Palestinians and the wounded scattered in the streets because the Israeli forces prevented ambulances from reaching them, besides the fate of other 70 Palestinians is still unknown after the Israeli forces blew off a house they resorted to.

News reports said that strong confrontation took place between the Israeli occupation forces and the Palestinian resistance men in the surrounding of the city. Palestinian sources said that the Israeli forces broke into al-Qasbeh quarters and arrived in al-Manara suburb and that the bulldozers demolished three buildings near the eastern entrance of the city.

Meantime, the commander of the parachutists contingent in the Israeli army admitted that at least two Israeli soldiers were wounded in the clashes taking place in the old quarters in Nablus, where the Palestinians showed courageous resistance.

Palestinian sources had stressed that 40 citizens were killed since Thursday in Nablus during confrontations with the Israeli occupation army, while news reports talked about a much greater number as there are corpses that were not seen by doctors and therefore they were not included in the said number. The sources added that there are 14 corpses and 16 wounded who are still waiting to be taken to a mobile hospital in the downtown of the city.

The Israeli army committed a new crime in the holy shrines when the Israeli forces demolished the oldest mosque in Nablus on the people who were performing their prayers. The wounded or killed were not permitted to be evacuated.

The Israeli tanks and helicopters continued its bombardment of the city of Jenin, while strong clashes were taking place in Jenin camp between the Palestinian resistance men and the Israeli forces which were trying to invade the camp from several axes but unable to do so completely despite five days of besiege, according to a spokesman for the Israeli army.

Palestinian sources said that the Apache planes rocketed a building inside the camp having Israeli soldiers inside it and this resulted in killing or wounding many of them.

While the Israeli army invaded several villages to the north of Ramullah, an Israeli military spokesman admitted that two Israeli soldiers were strongly wounded during clashes with Palestinian resistance men in Ramullah, while Nabil Abu Rudinah said that the Israeli occupation amry fired an anti- tank missile at the headquarters of the chairman of the Palestinian authority and that the missile fell inside the meeting hall and resulted in wounding four members of the Palestinian security men.

In Bethlehem, the Israeli forces continued their siege to the "Nativity" church for the 6th running days and blocked all roads leading to it while some 20 local and humanitarian organizations blocked a demonstration towards the church in protest for its continued besiege.

Meantime, the Israeli forces on Sunday at dawn arrested 7 Palestinians of the Arabs of 1948, while the Israeli prime minister admitted that 1500 Palestinians were arrested during the large scale campaign carried out by the army in the cities and villages of the West Bank.
