AL chief calls for immediate meeting for the UN security council

The secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa has stressed the need of convening an immediate meeting for the UN Security Council in order to discuss the deteriorated conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and for Israel's non- abidance to the recent UN Security Council resolution no. 1403.
In a statement to the al-Sharq radio on Sunday, Moussa stressed Arab states' continued support for the Palestinian national resistance to stand in the face of the Israeli occupation and its continued terrorism against the unarmed civilians.
