Israel expels Abu Dhabi TV correspondent
United Arab Emirates-Palestine, Politics, 4/8/2002

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday evening arrested the correspondent of Abu Dhabi TV in occupied Jerusalem Jasem al-Azawi and took him to the airport for expulsion.

The Israeli radio said that the Israeli press office withdrew from Abu Dhabi's correspondent his press credentials and asked him to leave by Friday evening under the charge of what it called " provocative and bias coverage " of the events taking place in the Palestinian territories. A coverage which contributes to flare up the Arab citizens, as the radio claimed.
