Catholic church in Morocco decries situation in Palestinian territories

The Catholic church in Morocco on Friday denounced the situation currently prevailing in the Palestinian territories.
The friends of peace, Palestinians and Israelis, had rekindled at the end of a long process of dialogue the hope for peace and justice in the holy land, but irresponsible decisions are now putting this hope into jeopardy," the church said in a release sent to MAP.
The reoccupation of Palestinian territories, violations of the freedom of movement and of the exercise of the legitimate authority in Palestine will only trigger a new cycle of violence, the church added, which said it chairs the Moroccan people's denunciation of such a situation.
