Clashes in south Lebanon between the resistance and the Israeli forces

The Lebanese border line with Israel witnesses violent confrontation between the Lebanese resistance fighters and the Israeli occupation forces following the Israeli violations of the Lebanese sovereignty in land and sea.

Lebanese security sources said that artillery and missile exchange took place on Friday evening in Shebaa farms areas and hills of Kafer Shouba.

The sources described these clashes as violent as sounds of shells explosion were heard in areas far from the site of the clashes.

The Lebanese national resistance said that it attacked on Friday several positions for the Israeli forces in the occupied Shebaa farms.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that it attacked the Israeli positions in Zibdin, Rweiset al-Qarn, al-Ramtha; al-Sammaqa, Rweisat al-Alam and Daher al-Ahmar.

The statement indicated that the resistance fighters used in their attacks machine guns, missiles and shells and direct hits were achieved.

The resistance stressed that the Radar position in Shebaa was directly hit and fire columns were seen rising from the site.

Later, the Lebanese army leadership said that its anti- missile aircraft intercepted, for the second time Israeli planes that violated the Lebanese airspace.

In a statement, the Lebanese leadership said the Israeli planes on Friday afternoon resumed its violation of the Lebanese airspace over the southern Lebanese areas at intermediate altitude and were intercepted by the Lebanese anti- aircraft missiles over al-Nabateyah.

Earlier, the Israeli warplanes renewed its violation of the Lebanese airspace over several liberated Lebanese areas.

In another statement, the Lebanese army leadership said that two Israeli warplanes on Friday violated the Lebanese airspace over the areas of Bint Jbeil, al-Nabatieh, al-Tuffah district and were intercepted by the Lebanese defense means.

In a statement on Friday evening, the resistance said that the air defense unit intercepted the Israeli planes which violated the Lebanese sovereignty over al-Naqoura border areas.

The Israeli artillery positioned in the Shebaa farms bombarded the surrounding of Burket Shebaa and the northern sides of Kafer Shouba town.

On the other hand, UNIFIL run armored on foot patrol along the border line which extends from al-Wazzani town through al-Abbaseyah, Kafer Shouba until Burket Shouba.
