The Israeli aggression continues, 20 Palestinians killed

The Israeli aggression continued against the Palestinian villages and cities and more Palestinians were killed or wounded and heavy damage to properties were inflicted.

In Nablus, some 30 Palestinians were killed, tens were wounded by the Israeli forces bullets which tried to break into the two cities following an intensive bombardment by tanks, machine guns and missiles of Apache planes.

News reports said that the commander of al-Aqsa group in the West Bank Nasser Eweis was killed when he detonated himself among a group of Israeli soldiers in Nablus. Two Palestinian resistance men were killed during the confrontation with the Israeli army in Jenin.

Palestinian sources said that the Israeli forces tried to break into Jenin camp from three axes but were "intercepted by brave confrontation" from the side of the Palestinian young men that resulted in killing one Israeli soldier and wounding of other 7, according to a spokesman for the Israeli army.

Witnesses said that more than 400 tanks were trying to control Nablus while the Israeli army broke into Toubas town of Jenin district, where strong confrontations took place between the Israeli solders and the defenders of the town resulted in killing two Palestinians and a 13 year old Palestinian girl. Other 6 Palestinians were killed in the same town because of air bombardment by an Israeli helicopter to a building which was destroyed completely.

An Israeli military spokesman admitted the killing of one Israeli army officer and two soldiers in clashes in Jenin, noting that the officer is called Nasim Bin David and the two soldiers are Annan Sher'abi and Ghabi Yitzhak Ezra.

The Monte Carlo radio said that the Palestinian resistance in Nablus destroyed two tanks and killed three soldiers and wounded two in clashes took in the old part of the city.

In Hebron, at least 11 Palestinians were wounded, two in a critical health condition, one of them is an eight year old child when two Israeli helicopters fired two missiles at a car aimed at assassinating Ziad Shweiki, one of the key cadres of the Islamic Jihad movement.

The Nativity ( al-Mahd ) church in Bethlehem where 300 Palestinian resorted, including children, women and wounded, was exposed to intensive fire by the Israeli forces, while the commander of the Israeli forces which besiege asked the church to surrender.
