Arafat holds telephone calls with Abu al-Ragheb

The chairman of the Palestinian authority Yasser Arafat on Friday discussed with the Jordanian prime minister Ali Abu al-Ragheb the grave conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories during a telephone call he received from him on Friday.
Arafat's advisor Nabil Abu Rudinah said that Arafat briefed the Israeli prime minister on the "developments of the Israeli military aggression against the Palestinian people and discussed with him also the Arab and international developments exerted to halt this aggression."
He explained that "Arafat called on the Jordanian prime minister to work for halting the bloody massacres committed by Israel against the Palestinian people."
