Brazilian Business Mission in Morocco

A Brazilian business mission will start Friday a several-day visit to Morocco to explore partnership projects with Moroccan economic operators.
Some thirty firms will be represented in the mission, including businessmen operating in food industry, handicraft, civil engineering and hotel industry.
The Brazilian entrepreneurs will debate with their Moroccan peers means to upgrade exchanges which are still short of the two countries potentials, especially in telecommunications, banking automation and irrigation, Brazil's ambassador to Morocco, Lauro Moreira, told the press.
Trade between Morocco and Brazil, which do not exceed 1 percent of the two countries external trade, total US$200 million annually. Brazil exports to Morocco sugar, while Morocco sells the Latin American country phosphoric acid and chemical products.
