Two Israeli army officers killed, Palestinians deterred Israeli invaders at the door of Jenin camp

The Israeli occupation forces which tries to re-occupy Jenin Camp faced strong resistance that succeeded in deterring the Israeli invaders and preventing them from controlling the camp and caused them the killing of one army officer and wounding other 6 soldiers, while the Israeli army was starting an incursion attempt of Hebron where another Israeli was killed. The Palestinian leadership called on the citizens to resist and maintain steadfastness.
Meantime, chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Oreikat has announced that more than 80 palestinians were killed in the Palestinian territories especially in the West Bank since the beginning of the Israeli operation on March 29 in this area. Oreikat added that this statistic was prepared until Thursday 10 a.m. and that: other Palestinians were killed after this date." Witnesses said that Israeli tanks stormed into Hebron in the most recent incursion in the Palestinian authority areas. The Witnesses added that scores of Israeli tanks and armored vehicles as well as Jibs backed by military helicopter planed incurred into the city from the southern side.
The Israeli army radio said that one Israeli army officer from the borders guard was killed during Hebron operation. The radio said that Patrick Beleing ( 30 year old) who is an ( operation officer ) was killed during an operation carried out by one of the special units of the borders guards in the house of one Palestinian activist the Israeli force was trying to arrest.
On the other hand, Palestinian sources said that the Israeli army besieged the house of the Palestinian Hazem Qfesheh, one member of al-Aqsa martyrs groups, who is wanted by the Israeli amry in Hebron. An armed clashed took place in Um al-Daleya suburb resulted in killing the Israeli amry officer and the wounding several Palestinians.
In Nablus, where more than 100 Israeli tanks were deployed, violent fighting took place. One Palestinian was killed by bullets fired by Israelis while tanks were positioned at the entrances of the city and in the central square.
The Palestinian fighters in Nablus retaliated by mortars artillery to the Israeli soldiers who were bombarding the Palestinians by heavy machine guns, according to israeli soldiers.
AFP correspondent who was among a group of Israeli tanks at the southern entrance of the city heard an explosion of a shell which fell in a field near the Israeli tanks. The shell was fired from adjoining buildings in the city. An Israeli soldier called Mikhael said: " It is a Palestinian mortar shell, they frequently ( the Palestinians ) fire it on us, but we do not so far suffer casualties." Palestinian sources said that two Palestinians were killed by the Israeli army bullets in Nablus.
On the other hand, an Israeli military spokesman announced the killing of a reserve Israeli army officer by the Palestinian bullets in Jenin camp for the Palestinians. The source said that the army officer ( 29 year old) was killed upon carrying out an operation at Jenin camp in which two other Israeli soldiers were wounded.
Palestinian sources said that one Palestinian was killed in an armed confrontation with the Israeli army in Jenin camp. Two other Palestinians were killed in Jenin. Witnesses said that The Israeli army bombarded Jenin Camp by Apache planes missiles and tanks shells.
Members of the Palestinian legislative council for Jenin Fahkri Tukman said that the " attack at Jenin camp by Apache planes and tanks and artillery continued since Thursday at 4.a.m. continuously." He added that several Palestinian houses were demolished or damaged or burnt and that if conditions continue so massacres will take place.
For his part, the spokesman for the Israeli army Gen. Ron Kethri said that the army arrested more than 1100 Palestinians in the few recent days in the West bank. He told the Israeli radio that among the detainees are " several suspected to be involved in direct bloody attacks." Meantime, the Palestinian leadership said that the Israeli attempts are continuous in " the breaking in operations and re-occupying cities and villages while the Palestinian resistance proceeds." It called on the international community to interfere immediately to " stop the Israeli aggression." In a statement broadcast by the Palestinian news agency, the Palestinian leadership said that the "Israeli occupation forces continue attempts to advancing towards our camps and cities especially the city of Nablus and the camps of Askar and Balata and Ein al-Ma' where strong resistance is shown by the Palestinian heroes who defend the city and the camps."
