Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak chairs meeting of integrated care society

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, who chairs the Board of the Integrated Care Society, presided over the 24th ordinary meeting of the General Assembly of the society.
In an address, Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak said that the society was exerting increasing efforts in the service of society and to provide integrated care which covers health, psychological, social, intellectual and cultural services.
She said that the year has 2001 witnessed "brilliant achievements" and 2002 will be a new stage in efforts to open wider vistas and embark on giant projects.
Mrs. Mubarak said the inauguration of Maadi Library is a new good step that comes strongly to light. Mrs. Mubarak extended thanks to those who contributed to the voluntary work, and those who truly participated in the social development march.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Mubarak reviewed the annual report of the association activities in the fields of developing libraries and centres of children of special needs.
On the other hand, a workshop on digestive system and liver of children opened yesterday under the sponsorship of Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak.
The workshop addressed diseases related to digestive system and liver and means of treating them.
Representatives of European Association, U.S. faculty of digestive system, British association, French experts beside more than 30 physicians and scientists participate in the conference.
