Egypt suspends relations with Israel

The Egyptian cabinet Wednesday decided to suspend all contacts with the Israeli government, with the expection of those conducted through diplomatic channels to serve the Palestinian cause, Information Minister Safwat el-Sherif said following President Hosni Mubarak's meeting with the political group.
