A lecture postponed at the American cultural center in Damascus, Beirut

The US embassies in both Damascus and Beirut have postponed a lecture for the director of New York Museum Robert Macdonald on the sideline of inaugurating a photograph exhibition in both capitals under the title "New York after September 11."
Although the US embassy in Damascus did not give a clear reason for postponing the lecture, however, observers expected that this postponement is because of the escalation of the Israeli aggression in the occupied Palestinian territories. The exhibition is organized by the US State Department.
