Israeli bombardment of south Lebanon, Lebanese resistance attacks Israeli positions in Shebaa

The Lebanese national resistance on Tuesday attacked several positions for the Israeli forces in the Shebaa occupied farms.

In a statement, the Lebanese resistance said that confrontations took place by artillery on Tuesday afternoon and that tens of Israeli shells fell on the southern Lebanese villages for the second running day.

Lebanese security sources said the Israeli forces fired 15 mortars shells at al-Addaneh hill in al-Arqoub, the outskirts of the liberated farm of Bastara, and the route linking it to Kafer Shouba town and the bombardment coincided with heavy bombardment at al-Arqoub heights.

The sources explained that two Israeli jets raided two times the woods of Kafer Shouba and dropped four air- to ground missiles at the area. The Lebanese army and national resistance anti air craft means intercepted the Israeli raiding planes which dropped thermal balloons.

The sources added that the Israeli forces bombarded kafer Hammam and Kafer Souba by tens of shells. The Israeli bombardment also targeted Burket al-Naqqar.

The sources said that the Israeli occupation forces were seen carrying out fortification acts in the positions close to the liberated Lebanese towns in South Lebanon.

News reports from south Lebanon said that the Israeli settlers in the higher Galilee area spend Monday evening in the shelters of fears following the Israeli aggressions against the Lebanese territories.

In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, the Lebanese national resistance said that the resistance men at 4.35 p.m. carried out violent confrontations with Israeli occupation positions in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa farms.

The statement said that the Lebanese resistance men attacked the Israeli positions in al-Ramtha, al-Sammaqa, Rweisat al-Alam and stressed that direct hits were achieved in the Israeli lines.

The Lebanese resistance added that three Israeli soldiers were wounded in the attack launched by the Lebanese resistance men at the Israeli position in al- Rweisat. The Lebanese resistance added that the Israeli forces at 5.50 p.m. opened its machine guns fire at kafer Shouba heights.
