European report: Israel seeks to drag Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan to war

A European military report has unveiled Israel's attempts to drag Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Jordan to war.

The report which was issued on Tuesday by the Saudi daily al-Watan that four European military men monitored an Israeli plan to drag the four Arab states into a military confrontation with it and a comprehensive war, noting that the peace agreements which links Israel to each of Egypt and Jordan is vulnerable now to collapse, and that if the two states give up the peace agreements to side with the Palestinians, Israel will face a military bottleneck that may lead to cordoning it.

The report stressed that Israel might use a pretext the interference of Hizbullah members to protect the Palestinians and certain attacks at the Shebaa farms in order to re-occupy south Lebanon and to drag Lebanon once again into the conflict, especially as the Hizbullah party has actually claimed responsibility for interfering to protect the Palestinians. The report indicated that if Israel enters south Lebanon this time it will never pull out of it and this will consequently contribute to fix its presence in the Syrian Golan.

As for Egypt, the report considered that the Israeli scheme aims at re-occupying areas already handed over to Egypt according to the peace agreement especially as this area represents an important strategic depth for Israel.

The military report indicated that the Israeli defense ministry held maneuvers for its air forces by F-16 and Apache planes and pilot-less planes with the participation of American experts, while Israeli military experts are making exercises for several scenarios for the war taking place now with the Palestinians and drawing the possibilities to expand this war to include other neighborly Arab states.

The report also stressed that the signals of recent Arab rapprochement with Iraq helped in ruling the US striking of Iraq and this resulted in the green light given by the US for the Israeli military move in order to make the Arab region involved in this crisis before actual Arab- Iraqi closeness will take place and continued to be a military closeness and cooperation with Iraq in which the US sees a country that owns sophisticated weapons that can be useful for the Arabs and consolidate them.
