Greek parliamentarians head for the Palestinian territories

A group of Greek Parliamentarian and activists will head today for the Palestinian territories in a "symbolic initiative" as an expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people against the escalations of the Israeli aggression.
The parliament member for the Leftist coalition Banagiotis Lavzanis as saying on Tuesday that a group of 20 persons of Greek Parliamentarians and peace activists will try to meet with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat who is besieged by the Israeli tanks inside his quarters in Ramullah in solidarity with the Palestinians in their crisis.
The Greek parliamentarians explained that the group also intends to take part in a march calls for establishing peace due to be organized in "occupied Jerusalem."
