Egyptian commerce chambers association boycotts Israel

Head of the Egyptian and Arab Chambers of Commerce Association Khaled Abu Ismail said the Association took a decision to boycott all economic activities with Israel. "A study is being conducted on how to deal with economic blocs that back Israel," he added.
Meanwhile, heads of investment societies called for an Arab strategy for dealing with the USA.
On his part, head of Industry and Energy Committee of the Shura Council, Mohamed Farid Khamis stressed the importance of boycotting Israel politically and economically. He added, "as for the States, the matter needs drawing an Arab strategy for dealing with US administration. Such Arab strategy has to be forwarded collectively."
"Trade exchange with the USA is highly important for Egypt, so such a huge economic power can't be boycotted," noted Mr. Khamis.
"I call upon the Egyptian economic community to cut tries with Israel, said the head of 10th of Ramadan City investors society," Mahmoud Soliman, adding that all products of the 10th of Ramadan City, including garments, foods and pharmaceuticals are ready to find their way to the Palestinian people.
"Private sector must play its role in supporting Egyptian stance against this new Nazism," he noted.
Moreover, Parliament Member and head of Al-Obour City investors society, Mr. Mustafa Al-Sallab stressed that it is high time for an overall boycott, including all aspects of economic cooperation with Israel. He concluded that such a boycott must be prompted by business organizations and investors societies.
