Al-Shara stresses in phone conversations with Moussa, Shaath, al-Qurabi severing relations with Israel

Syrian foreign minister Farouk al-Shara on Monday received a telephone call from the Palestinian minister of planning and international cooperation Nabil Shaath.

Al-Shara learnt from Shaath about the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories. View points were identical on the need that the Arab states have to implement the decisions of the recent Beirut Arab summit because they imply the basic components to deter the Israeli aggression and consolidate the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their brave Intifada to end the occupation.

On Monday morning al-Shara received a telephone call from the Yemeni foreign minister Abu baker al-Qurabi during which the two sides discussed the deteriorated and grave conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories as a result of the escalated aggression against the unarmed Palestinians. View points were identical on the need of implementing the Arab summit decisions held in Beirut last week.

On Monday afternoon, al- Shara received a telephone call from the secretary general of the Arab League Amr Moussa during which discussions dealt with the grave conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Al-Shara stressed that the implementation of the Beirut's Arab summit resolutions especially in regard to revitalizing the Arab boycott of Israel and severing relations with it is the basic step to deter israel and its violations of the Arab and Palestinian rights.
